The Paris MOU port state organisation has banned a veteran car carrier after it failed to dock at a repair yard.
The 4,700-ceu City of Tokyo (built 1987) has been banned from all Paris MOU ports.
It was detained in Antwerp, Belgium, in October, but did not call at a repair facility in Dubai before 30 November as agreed.
The ship is Panama-flagged, a register which is on the Paris MOU white list.
