Basile Aloy’s EBE Maritime is being linked with the purchase of a panamax bulker as the shipowner looks to continue its growth plans.
EBE has purchased the 82,200-dwt Atlantic Prime (built 2011) for a price of $19m, shipbrokers say.
Should the deal be confirmed the Ebe fleet would grow to four vessels, ranging from capesize to ultramax.
