A shipping company, insurers and financial service providers were reported to the UK’s sanctions regulators in 2023/2024 for suspected breaches of the G7’s oil price cap.
The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (Ofsi) said it had recorded 23 cases of suspected breaches during a year when the sale price of Russia-shipped crude was usually above the $60 oil price cap, according to data.
