Little-known Ukrainian owner Leader Ship Management appears to have done well on an aframax tanker it purchased from Teekay Corp two years ago.
The 106,000-dwt Basilia has been sold to an undisclosed buyer for demolition on the Indian sub continent for a firm $458 per ldt or $8m, market sources say.
Leader bought the tanker as Navion Torinita in January 2016 for just $5m.
