Secondhand feeder ships remain in strong demand, with German and Chinese-owned vessels recently changing hands.
The 1,036-teu Nordic Hamburg (renamed Ilse D, built 2010) has been bought by Germany’s Drevin Reederei.
The Cuxhaven-based manager paid $13m for the Jiangdong Shipyard-built vessel, according to reports.
