Wisdom Marine is focusing on longer-term charter deals as the bulker recovery remains slow - and will sell vessels to boost its balance sheet.
Chairman James Lan said the Taiwanese owner will take delivery of five new ships in 2019: three supramaxes and two handysizes.
"Since a slow recovery can be expected this year, we plan to start looking for profitable long-term contracts in the year," he said.
