A new shipyard to be built in Tunisia is close to tying up orders for another four multipurpose cargoships (MPCs).
The newbuildings are said to be slightly larger than the six 2,600-dwt vessels ordered earlier this year by Germany's Fehn Bereederung, also at Mednaval SA's planned facility in Bizerte.
The identity of the owners behind the latest quartet of ships has not been disclosed but a deal should be sealed within the next couple of weeks, say sources.
