The traditional cutting of the new year cake provided a fitting backdrop to take stock of the achievements of last year, announce new partnerships and bestow honours on deserving employees in a grand three-hour ceremony.
Blessed by Orthodox priest Father Thomas Hrysikos, under Captain Panagiotis Tsakos’ religious chant, the Vassilopita (St Basil’s cake in Greek) was cut and shared out among colleagues and guests.
