Greek owner Diamantis Lemos has landed a highly profitable period-charter deal for a coated panamax tanker. The company is set to take delivery of the ship from China's Hudong shipyard next year.
French oil major Total is reported to have taken the 71,000-dwt Despina for two years at $28,500 per day, which equates to revenues of $20.5m over the charter period.
