Although the Palmira Group shipping empire of Viktor Baranskiy has borne the brunt of the legal heat in recent months over collapsed Industrial Carriers Inc (ICI), creditors of the defunct Ukrainian charterer are now also training their sights on three more low-profile dry operators that emerged in the wake of its collapse.
The three additional outfits — Milestone Shipping, Phaeton International and Itiro Corp — were formed by either major shareholders or employees of ICI as or after it descended into bankruptcy in 2008, according to ICI legal pursuers and testimony by Baranskiy.
