As part of its chairmanship of the Arctic Council for the next two years up to May 2019, Finland has produced a set of 55 northerly themed emojis.
Many represent themes one can associate with the country — a polar bear, Moomin, iceman, forests, saunas, skiers, Santa, reindeer, aurora borealis, a Nokia 3310 mobile phone and woolly socks.
Shipping even makes it with an icebreaker — as the country is apparently the original home of two-thirds of the world’s icebreaking vessels.
