The 116,000-dwt Stealth Skyros (built 2011), which is coming off a one-year charter to Koch at just $13,750 per day, is understood to have been fixed for 12 months at $19,500 per day.
In the same segment, Navig8 has extended the hire of the 106,000-dwt Bareilly (built 2005) from London-based Foresight Group.
The tanker has been taken for 12 months at $18,000 per day, brokers say.
