Shipbroker Simpson Spence Young (SSY) and Norwegian investment bank Carnegie have hooked up to launch a new company that will offer investment banking project-finance services to the shipping industry.
The two companies signed a joint-venture agreement on Wednesday in London to set up SSY Carnegie LLP, which will concentrate on debt and equity capital markets, mergers-and-acquisitions (M&A) and initial public offerings (IPOs).
