NITC Tankers has won the latest round in the sanctions war against Iran.
The Tehran-based company’s fleet of VLCCs and other large tankers looks set to remain busy for the foreseeable future after recent Iranian oil-purchase deals from China, South Korea and India stipulated that the crude be delivered in NITC vessels because sanctions precluded any other ships from obtaining insurance coverage while carrying crude from the country.
