The South Korean shipping market is buzzing with talk that bulker owner/operator Samsun Logix may once again seek court protection.
Several shipping players tell TradeWinds that Seoul-based Samsun is struggling to stay afloat in the current poor dry bulk market.
It completed court rehabilitation proceedings in mid-2011 but is said to be behind on scheduled payments to creditors and logged a loss of around $40m last year.
