The 24,000-dwt Pacific Stream (built 1985) has been sold to India for a firm $540 per ldt, or $4.2m. The ship has 850 tons of stainless steel.
Last month, its sistership Pacific Lady (built 1985) was sold by Salhus for $507 per ldt, indicating that the market has since strengthened.
The Pacific Stream was bought as NCC Baha in 2009 for an undisclosed price and at the same time reportedly chartered by Odfjell for three to six years.
