The Kanasashi-built ship is reported sold to a Chinese owner for just $4.7m.
Director Christian Salamon did not reply to requests for comments. Salamon bought the ship from Augustea in 2005 when moving into the market. The company paid $34.7m in a deal that included a three-year charter back to the seller at $20,850 per day.
In 2010, Salamon bought the 176,000-dwt Golden Shanghai and Golden Queen (both built 2010) from Golden Ocean Group reportedly for $85m each with five-year charters at $35,000 per day.
