German owner F Laeisz is understood to have secured a two to three-year time charter for one of its two gas carriers.
The 60,000-cbm Pazific (built 2005) has been taken by Petredec from the beginning of June for some $30,000 per day, or $900,000 per month.
Laeisz also has a Hyundai-built sistership, the Polar (built 2004), that is also said to be on time charter to Petredec.
