New York’s Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) has reached outside of the usual shipping suspects to hire a financial advisor that will assist in the tanker owner’s quest to solve liquidity problems.
The largest US tanker owner has retained Chicago-based boutique firm Chilmark Partners, chief executive Morten Arntzen confirmed this week in response to questions from TradeWinds.

The hiring has not been publicly announced but had begun to circulate among financial sources.
