Claus-Peter Offen is planning the first listing on the US stock markets by a German shipowner.

The managing owner of Hamburg-based Reederei Claus-Peter Offen is “seriously investigating” an initial public offering (IPO) in order to maintain its position as a leading owner of containerships.
