Oslo-based car-carrier owner Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC) has tied up an order for up to four pure car/truck carriers (PCTCs) at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.
The contract is for two firm ships of 6,500 car equivalent units (ceu), with an option for two more. If all four are built, the contract would be worth $260m.
NOCC chief executive Olav Sollie confirms the contract.
