A traditional Greek shipping family that stayed out of the market for a number of years as the crisis took hold has returned as anchor investor in a new shipping fund targeting the dry bulk market.
TradeWinds reported in September that after a four-year absence from the market, George Alexandratos was buying the 76,600-dwt bulker Golden Kiji (built 2007) for a little under $20m.
