Rapidly expanding outfit NGM Energy is splashing out “about $42m” on the 309,000-dwt DS Voyager (built 2003), they say.
A memorandum of agreement (MOA) between Moundreas and the Samsung Heavy Industries-built ship’s current owners, Germany’s Dr Peters, was understood to be being signed as TradeWinds went to press.
This will be the second time in the past five months that Moundreas is tapping a ship from the German KG (limited partnership) house.
