London Greek owner Lykiardopulo is selling ships built around 2000 with sources suggesting the Hitachi-built, 75,000-dwt bulker Amalia (built 2000) could go before the end of this week.
The vessel has been inspected in Seattle and sources say it will likely fetch $15m to $16m, given that the owner is recognised as a quality operator and that the ship was built at a top-notch yard.
