But New York Maritime Association (Nymar) chairman Clay Maitland is worried about whether Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union (EU) will spur a cascading effect of other “exit” votes across the continent.
Maitland says he does not see New York benefitting from any supposed dislocation of maritime companies or services from the UK capital.
“I don’t think that will happen,” Maitland said.
