June’s election for a new head of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) is shaping up to be tight six-way voting battle, with South Korea’s Lim Ki-tack emerging as a strong late contender.
Visiting London last week to fire up his campaign, Lim dropped in to the IMO where he was a familiar face until 2009, when he was recalled to a senior government role in Seoul.
