Kish P&I Club is orienting its future to become the preferred protection-and-indemnity (P&I) provider for Iran’s private shipowners in a post-sanctions operating environment.
Kish P&I, formed as an initiative of National Iranian Tanker Co (NITC) when sanctions precluded the tanker giant from obtaining P&I coverage on the international markets, has seen the number of ships on its books start to dwindle since the easing of sanctions earlier this year.
