The Stena Sonangol suezmax pool has attracted its first tanker from US investment firm Icon Capital.
Icon’s 156,000-dwt Cener (to be renamed Shamrock, built 2011) will enter the pool this month.
Stena Bulk president Erik Haanell says the pool hopes to complete more work with Icon.
The arrival of the tanker is a boost for the pool, which has lagged behind its stated growth ambitions.
