Hoegh LNG closes in on first of new FSRU clutch

Hoegh LNG is eyeing up plans to order what will be the company’s eighth floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).

President and chief executive Sveinung Stohle tells TradeWinds the company is in the final stages of a tender that it has been engaged in since last year. He says Hoegh “expects to place a new order relatively soon” for the newbuilding.
