The first entrant into China’s budding international cruiseship sector, privately controlled HNA Group, is scrapping the 47,700-gt Henna (built 1986) after six months of layup in Shanghai.
Sources tell TradeWinds that the ship set off on Wednesday for a final voyage to Zhoushan, the municipal archipelago of Zhejiang province south-east of Shanghai. No price was given for the scrap sale.
