In an exclusive interview at his home in the Old Rectory in London’s Chelsea, he told TradeWinds that he has had to counter talk he is gradually stepping down from his numerous positions in shipping and other business.
“On one occasion the rumours had it that I was seriously ill or even dead, so I had to jump on a plane to New York to explain this situation,” said the 71-year-old shipping tycoon, who is as busy as ever.
