On 1 February energy major Total reorganised its fuelling group with the key addition of a new LNG department staffed by business and technical experts recruited internally from the company’s exploration and production department and gas and power division.
Singapore-based Olivier Jouny, who is managing director for the rebranded entity, Total Marine Fuels Global Solutions, says the group offers shipowners and operators a three-pronged choice of marine distillates, heavy fuel oil with exhaust gas scrubbers or LNG.
