Unlike other old vessels that end up on a beach, this venerable old lady is not about to be cut up for scrap. Instead, it will be turned into a resort hotel to complement the many other nearby beach resorts that are popular mostly with Singaporeans escaping the frantic pace of the Lion City across the Singapore Strait.
