London-based shipmanager and corporate consultant Fairwind Shipping is being acquired by Denholm Shipping Co.
The deal, which has been agreed in principle, strengthens long-standing ties between Fairwind's founder and director Trevor Fairhurst and Glasgow-based Denholm.
After the acquisition, Fairwind chairman Jean Richards and Fairhurst, widely known for his role as trouble-shooter in some high-profile shipping cases, will join the board of Denholm.
