The delivery date for China's third LNG newbuilding has slipped into 2009 with still no sign of a definite handover date for the vessel.
Staff at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co say they cannot disclose the delivery date for the 147,000-cbm Min Rong , which is understood to be undergoing gas trials.
Industry sources say 30 January had been pencilled in for the handover of the vessel, which had been slated for delivery in November.
