A leading boxship owner is finding it harder to bag charters for its older panamaxes and has been forced to lay up vessels.
Danaos Corp has not been able to recharter three of its panamaxes for several months.
This is despite a drop in the number of laid-up vessels over the past fortnight as carriers put some of their own tonnage back to work.
