Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction (HHIC) is closing in on its debut order for ultra large containerships (ULCs), with French giant CMA CGM poised to book 20,000-teu units at the yard.
The South Korean builder — which is currently building boxships of up to 11,000 teu — is said to be in close discussion with the world’s third-largest liner company for a trio of vessels.
