Headquartered in Piraeus, the company is a relatively new name in the cruise game, formed in 2015 when Cypriot travel conglomerate Louis Group reorganised its cruise division as a destination specialist targeting smaller ports where big ships are unable to call.
Celestyal operates two ships, the 37,800-gt Celestyal Olympia (built 1982) and the chartered 19,000-gt Celestyal Nefeli (built 1992), on a seasonal basis in the Eastern Mediterranean.
