Capital Maritime is adding more newbuildings to its growing fleet by signing up for two further medium-range (MR) products tankers at Samsung Heavy Industries (Ningbo).
The Evangelos Marinakis-led company’s tally of MR products tankers at the yard has now risen to eight.
The latest pair of 52,000-dwt vessels are options that Capital negotiated when it ordered MRs at the yard in May.
