BW Gas tipped as hot ticket to secure second Egypt FSRU

LNG shipowner BW Gas is the favourite to scoop a job to provide a second floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to Egypt.

Industry sources reveal that officials from BW were in Cairo this week for discussions with Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co (EGAS), which floated a tender for an FSRU last month. They suggest BW has been given the nod for the business.
