Brazilian prosecutors say new charges are forthcoming over an alleged bribe paid by representatives of Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), after last week’s formal corruption charges against Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) chairman Nobu Su and two former high-ranking Petrobras officials.
The developments are part of an increasingly international phase of “Operation Car Wash”, the sweeping federal bribery probe that has rocked Brazilian politics and state-controlled Petrobras.
