A move by the WR Berkley insurance group into the Norwegian marine hull market appears to have hit the rocks.
No announcement has been made by the US insurance group but the word in the market is that renewal terms are not on offer.
Bjorn Olav Norbye, WR Berkley’s Oslo-based marine director and underwriter, has joined the Norwegian Hull Club, with deputy Eva Bye also understood to be on the move.
