Even with 12 weeks allowed for the trial, Judge Mr Justice Hildyard felt the need to comment after just four days that although he was not blaming anyone — at least not yet — the cross examinations that had taken place had taken twice as long as the time set aside for them.
A major worry has been the mass of confusing and duplicate documents needed to be referred to in proceedings that have had to be translated from Russian.
