Captain Rajalingam Subramaniam took the helm of AET, the tanker arm of Malaysia’s MISC Berhad, last year. His appointment marked the culmination of a 33-year career spent entirely within the MISC group.
Captain Raja, as he is known in the industry, is a graduate from the Malaysian marine academy ALAM (Akademi Laut Malaysia). He sailed as a master mariner in the MISC fleet before joining shore services in 1996.
