Two 17-year-old supramax bulkers have reportedly been sold from the fleets of Greece’s Almi Marine and Polforce Shipping.
The sales come amid a slow upturn in the value of this type of Japanese bulker.
Piraeus-based Polforce is said to have found a Chinese buyer for the 50,000-dwt Aliki P (built 2001), which fetched in excess of $8.1m, European and US brokers said.
