This issue of TW+ looks into the political side of one of Greece’s best-known shipowners, Evangelos Marinakis, just weeks after the country elected a radical left-wing government that is now trying to hammer out a deal with the EU over its massive debts.
Marinakis has his fans, many of them supporters of the Olympiacos football club over which he presides. He has his detractors, too, who have accused him of corruption in the same soccer arena — which he strenuously denies.
