Ane Maersk Mc-Kinney Uggla, the 66-year-old chairwoman of the AP Moller Foundation, the family-owned institution that controls Maersk Group, does not generally give interviews.
Like her father before her, she keeps a low profile and there is little detail about her in the public domain, even though the AP Moller-Maersk group is Denmark’s largest company.
However, the woman who took over from her father, Arnold Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, after he died in April 2012, at the same time becoming vice-chairman of the group’s board of directors, has just deemed it fit to have a lengthy chat with the company’s staff magazine, Maersk Post.
