Star Bulk Carriers is pushing ahead with a campaign to lower the age of its fleet, shedding two of its oldest supramaxes just a few weeks after circulating them for sale in the secondhand market.
Brokers reported the 52,400-dwt Star Epsilon (built 2001) and 52,200-dwt Star Cosmo (built 2005) as sold late last week.
