Samskip will use its LNG powered vessel Kvitbjorn to install and test a compact and modular carbon capture system.
The Dutch company has selected an LNG dual-fuelled vessel operating from Rotterdam to the Norwegian coast as far North as Hammerfest.
It will become the testbed for a new system being developed in the ME2CC (Maritime Efficient and Easy Carbon Capture) project.
