US-listed Safe Bulkers reported on Tuesday it is on track to install exhaust gas cleaning systems on half its fleet, with five scrubber installations already completed and another 15 to follow by early next year.
In its latest earnings release, the company revealed which of its ships already carry scrubbers: the 87,000-dwt Martine (built 2009), the 95,800-dwt Venus Horizon (built 2012), the 95,800-dwt Venus History (built 2011), the 92,000-dwt Andreas K (built 2009), and the 82,000-dwt Pedhoulas Cherry (built 2015).
